Bought this dress for my 20 year old daughter and she looks absolutely amazing in it. She is 5'10" tall and has these legs that dont seem to end. The medium fit like a glove on her but was a little too short for her (the dress is for a wedding reception) so she opted to keep the large which still fit (just not as skin tight) and had a little more length to it.... She loves it and I got it on SALE so I am very happy with the purchase!!
I ordered this dress for a new year's party. When I got it, it did hug the curves like the other reviews said it would. I typically wear and extra small, however due to the thickness of the material and my petite build...it really need to be smaller in the arms. I think my dress was also a little defective at the zipper...it stuck out on the hip a bit. I did not keep the dress even though I really liked the idea of it. I also think the shoulder should be a little thinner as it crosses over. Again, it may be my petite build the threw it off...it just looked like too much material on one shoulder. If you do love the gold, order a size smaller.
While this dress runs large(I got XS and it was still to big!) it was very flattering. I got lots of compliments. Usually XS from Express fits perfectly but I needed at least 10 more pounds to fill those hips out! Even so it still looked great and the color was perfect for me. The picture is a true depiction of the color.
I ordered this dress online. It has a definite "80's" feel to it, which is fine if that's your style. It puckered on my right hip where the zipper was and wouldn't lay flat. I order an XS, i'm 5'0" 105lbs.
