This skirt is very sophisticated with a polyester top for work related and also very, very sexy for a date out. But it runs very large, despite that I wear a size 8 in my waist-line. I had to go in Express store to measure the skirt and end up fitting a size 2. I prefer this particular skirts to snug and leggier against my lower hips and thighs. I'm height 5,5 and weight 144, this silhouette skirt would turn heads and will get constantly complements. So I recommend this skirt to get, because its a keeper.
...and that's what's so great about these spandex banded skirts this season. It's difficult for girls like me who have a tummy, no hips and no butt to find pencil skirts that balance out all those problem areas, but this skirt does it. If you get it to fit you in the waist, it should conform to the bottom half of your body without the need to get anything taken in, and I'm all for saving money at the tailor's.
Wear this one with a tucked-in blouse, tank, or ruffled dress top (especially if your chest is a better asset to you than your lower half) and use a belt to create a shape if you're lacking, or go untucked with a figure-hugging shell, tank or cami and a jacket or cardi and you can do no wrong.
