I never bought a high-waisted skirt before but the bright blue color caught my eye and I decided to try it out! I like the way it fits and i was surprised I did, now I need to find cute tops to match it!
I actually saw this piece in the store, and tho it lacked "hanger appeal", it certainly made up for it when I tried it on. Sexy! It's not a mini, so if that's what you're looking for, then plan on altering it. I wear a size 12, and this fits true to size; However, if you're like me and have a tiny waist and full hips, then you can get away with ordering a size or two smaller, as I did for a more snug fit. Contrary to some of the other posts I've read, this skirt is very comfortable.The fabric looks luxe and the construction well executed. I'm ordering it in two more colors. Get it! You'll love it!
I love this skirt! I bought it to wear to a party where I had to dress to impress. It's really figure flattering. It's really high-waisted, definitely gives the feel of some of the 50's styles, with a modern twist. I wore the skirt with a shirt over it for the party which worked out really well, but I've also worn it with shirts tucked in. You definitely have to be in shape to wear this skirt because it will show anything and everything! Love it!
