I absolutely love this high waisted skirt. I'm 5'4, 118 lbs, small waist but have curves. It's hard for me to find skirts that fit my waist as well as my curves. But this skirt did it. I purchased the black skirt in black in a size 0 back in February. Love it and have got tons of compliments in it!! Considering buying it in grey.
This skirt is perfect! I'm not usually a skirt wearer, but after reading all the amazing reviews on this one, I had to try it out. I got the skirt in black.
I am usually a size XS in Express, so I bought a size 00. It fit's perfectly..the fabric/material is stretchy so I would definitely order a size or two lower than you normally wear. I definitely don't think it's office appropriate because it runs short if you wear it at high-waisted. I think the people who are reviewing it and saying that it has the weird bump in the back are for those are are wearing it a little lower on the waist, but it looks best high-waisted. The fabric is high-quality, and I can't wait to go out and wear this skirt.
The only reason I deduct a star is because it's very pricey for the skirt...if only it were cheaper I would buy it in other colors too!
I have a few pencil skirts by express that are more for work, and I bought this on a whim when one of the sales people gave it to me as a recommendation in the dressing room. I usually get annoyed and ignore the things they give me but tried this on for fun. I love it! Very flattering, very comfortable, love the material. In my opinion it's more of a night out or casual skirt than a business skirt, but whatever works for you. I bought the size 00- I'm 5'3, 120lbs and have a thicker bottom and it fits absolutely perfect/very fitted but not skin tight. Girls that are smaller than this and looking for a tighter fitting skirt, it might be loose on you. But, definitely recommend.
I love the bandage skirts (and dresses!!) that Express came out with this year! So flattering and curve hugging. Runs pretty large though - I usually wear an XS or 0 in Express, and I definitely had to get the 00 in this skirt.
