I bought this skirt in black color size o and I love how it fit me. The length is just perfect to wear to church or work.IIt is so comfy , I luv how it is lookkkkk on me . Here is a pic of that skirt :)
I was horribly disappointed with this skirt. After all the great reviews I expected a lot and was quite let down. In skirts and dresses I wear a small. I'm 5' 7", have a 28" waist, and 38" hips. I ordered this skirt in the Indigo in a 4 and 6 based on the recommendations of the other reviewers. I tried on the 6 first and even though I had it high on my waist the bottom only came to just above my knees. The 6 wasn't tight enough, especially in the waist so I tried on the 4 next. The 4 didn't come much higher on my legs and was still too loose in the waist. What was even worse it was too tight in the butt and hips causing the bottom hem in the back to flip outward creating a very unappealing look. Plus over time I'm sure this skirt would stretch out and look worse because of the material. Too bad too. It looked so cute in the picture. I was very surprised by the fact that this skirt didn't fit considering how similar it is to the skirt on the rouched shoulder banded dress, which fit me perfectly.
This skirt is just the best. Comfy but still shows off your shape and long enough to wear a variety of places. The material is also pretty thick and BEST of all it does not ride up.
I started off with my regular size (8) but returned for a 6, then decided to try on a 4 for kicks and it fit about the same. I'm definitely with some other reviews that you should order at least 1 size down, 2 if you want a very fitted skirt.
I've paired this with mostly over sized blouses because I think it looks a little more conservative than an outfit that is tight and figure-revealing all over.
